Granite paving and driveway in Stoke Bishop (January 2018)
Landscaping works to include rear garden granite paving plus paving around perimeter of house and a new granite cobbled driveway.
Our client wanted a new patio, something new and exciting that added a contemporary look to her garden and was also grippy, hard wearing and uplifting.
She decided that Granite paving was the correct material to achieve this look.
We lifted the old tired concrete slabs and replaced the mostly sand sub base for a compacted and stable chippings to dust sub base. We added drainage and created a fall away from the house to keep moisture at bay.
We then paved the rear patio area and all round the property to the front of house entrance in 25mm calibrated Granite paving in a random mixed pattern.
Our client was so pleased with the results she then asked us to cobble her driveway and remove the tired looking red block paving and replace this with Granite mixed size cobbles to compliment the existing granite paving and finish off the front of house in a contemporary style.
The resulting works have now transformed the 1980’s built town house and the property now stands head and shoulders above the rest in this exclusive Stone Bishop location.
