A returning client had left the big smoke of the city of Bristol and settled in the beautiful village of Godney on the Somerset Levels.
Incastone were tasked with building a new Blue Lias boundary wall along the front of the property.
The previous block and render wall was demolished and new footings dug. We added stability to the wall by fixing 20mm steel bar into the footings trench and building the wall around these vertical steels to add internal strength.
We used a cement based mortar with a local yellow building sand which complimented the local walling stone perfectly.
We also installed a new gateway entrance with a solid Blue Lias lintel overhead adding some attractive character to the finish of the new boundary wall.
Project duration of 20 working days.
